If you are a fan of the platform fighter genre but would like to take a break from Super Smash Brothers, then you might want to download Brawlhalla. This 2D combat game has you battle against a variety of unusual characters known as legends, and you can either play locally or online depending on your preferences. In your matches, you are going to be thrown into unique environments that range from a castle on a mountaintop to a Mayan temple.

While the base game is completely free to play, you will need to earn coins in the game or spend money to unlock additional characters. Only six legends are available with the initial download, and those characters will get old after awhile. Playing against AI opponents might become repetitive as well, and that means you will probably want to head online and compete against other human players once you have mastered the basic controls of the game.
